High Care

Fourways Vet Hospital has a dedicated separate high-care unit that is fully staffed (24 hours a day). Animals are admitted to our high care if they require specialized post-operative care, for serious illnesses or for closer observations.

As patients in this ward are in need of higher levels of care, their kennels are located in close proximity to our nursing station so that they can receive more regular monitoring and be observed 24 hours a day.
