Who We Are
Fourways Veterinary Hospital and Specialist Referral Centre is a full-service small animal hospital situated in Fourways, Johannesburg. We are one of the leading Veterinary Hospital and Referral Centres in South Africa.
Since 1981 we have provided the highest level of care to your pets. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and our emergency rooms are fully equipped to manage life-threatening traumatic injuries and provide critical and emergency assistance to sick pets.
In addition, we offer a full range of services from primary health care to Dentistry, Specialist Veterinary Physicians and Specialist Surgeons. Our team of Generalist Veterinarians works together with our in-house Specialists and referring Veterinarians to provide the highest standard of care to our patients. We are staffed 24 hours a day, and because we never close, we are able to provide round-the-clock monitoring and treatment of critically ill pets. The hospital itself provides for general care, high care and operates its own Intensive Care ward.

FVH enjoys the competencies of more than 40 professional staff members, including Generalist Veterinarians, Specialist Veterinary Physicians, Specialist Surgeons and a complement of more than 25 Veterinary Nurses.
Cases and Referrals
During the past 12 months, FVH treated approximately 41 000 patients and had over 19 000 cases referred to us from other Veterinary Practices.
